The Sparkly Dressed meeting fans, Billboard’s Power 100 and Long Live with Paula Fernandes

Hello Taylor Nation!

The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar has been enchanted to meet a few fans lately! First, there was Phoebe‘s story. You can read it on her own post Meeting Taylor Swift at Portobello Road in London, UK. Now you can also read Leslie‘s story How I met Taylor Swift in Ventura, California.
Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who would actually had put the Outspoken One in a higher spot, are happy that Billboard recognized Taylor in their Power 100 list. The Queen of Sparks has her own management company, 13 Management. She’s a recognized singer and songwriter of top hit songs. She also has deals with Target, Covergirl (sponsor of the Speak Now Tour), the Wonderstruck fragrance with Elizabeth Arden, Sony Electronics, Walmart, the National Hockey League and she has her own doll. Read Billboard for the original story.
May we add she also has so much influence that when she mentions she likes a song and/or artist, it tends to boost up their popularity?
In order to promote an approved re-recorded version of “Long Live” in Brazil, a new video has been released with the duet of Brazilian singer Paula Fernandes singing with Taylor Swift. You can read the original story at paulafernandes.com.br.

Taylor Swift Funniest Moment in 2006-2011

Hey Swifties, I've just downloaded this video below from http://www.youtube.com and I want you guys to watch this. It's so funny! Haha lol :)

Visit "The Swift Agency.com"

ABOUT
This site is getting a bit of traffic, so I thought I’d update my mission statement here. My own monologue if you will :) The blog now has it’s own domain at http://www.theswiftagency.com

Who am I?
I’m just The Editor. What can I say, at the end of day, honey, I’m still a guy. I don’t have a professional writing background. That means I have written a bunch of things but I’ve never received payment for any of it. I’m basically someone who likes to write and became a Swiftie.

What kind of site is this?
This is a personal celebrity blog. So far, I have seen no need for an economic sponsorship of any kind. I didn’t start this as a commercial venture because it’s more of writing hobby of mine. At this moment I’d rather be free to write what I like when I can, rather than produce an article on schedule. I tend to like putting my own spin on stories, which is why every reporting here is biased. I know my personal brand of humor is a bit dry, which seems to fit my writing (I think). Yes, I take sides. I’m with the blond with the guitar.

Why did I started this blog?
I love Taylor Swift and The Agency. I found that news articles about Taylor seem to be either lost about the order of events or taking phrases out of context to make up news. You don’t need me to figure it out.  But it’s nice to just see it on plain text once in a while. I also like writing a lot.

What’s different about this site that other Taylor Swift fansites?
I’ve tried to bring the actual blog entry more to the foreground. I will provide you with pictures and media as well as long as they pertain to the event (or just a lovely picture of Taylor that I found if there is none) but the story comes to the foreground rather than get lost amidst all the graphic art. As a blog, I feel entitled to give my own little spin to the story, so I will include inside jokes that only Taylor fans would know. Then again, sometimes my humor tends to fall flat as there are inside jokes pertaining to the blog itself.

Why there are some “news” that don’t show up here?
There are things that I don’t report though. I’m a fan of gossip as the next guy (yeap, I’m a guy and a fan of Taylor Swift but I’m still a guy) but if I already know there’s no way the story is true or it’s just recycled stuff being passed of as new ones then it’s not going in here.

Why do I never mention… you-know-who?

Also, you might have noticed I never, ever mention the name of a particular person that interrupted Taylor at the VMA’s of 2009. I do that on purpose. I don’t hate him. I just don’t think I need to bring any attention to him on this site. Ok, I may dislike him a little. When I have to refer to him you’ll find I mention him as Mr. Interruptus Vulgaris or some other moniker (nowadays I call him the rapper whose name I forget).

Why don’t I include profiles on Andrea, Scott, Austin…?
To put it simply, because although Andrea and Scott support their daughter as I’m sure Austin supports his sister, they are not public figures and I’m not sure they really want the exposure. This is the same reason why I don’t have a profile for Abigail Anderson, Taylor’s best friend. On the other hand, I could add Taylor’s Fearless dancers (Charity, Claire, Lacey, Brandon, Clifton and Jonathan) at some point.

Do I have any link whatsoever to Taylor Swift’s agency or Taylor Swift’s band which is called “The Agency”?
No. I’m not trying to impersonate Taylor Swift’s agency. Yes, I know the evidence points to the contrary.  “The Agency” is an inside name that the members of Taylor Swift’s band use.  I named it The Swift Agency because… other disambiguations were taken.  For an introduction to the Agency, please check out The Opening Statement.

What is the Ninja Department?
The guys from the Ninja Department where once a secret organization of assassins trained to never be seen. Nowadays they are simply never seen, but most of the time I think they hang around the water cooler and tell Ninja jokes. Ok, that’s all made up. They are never around, so if they were real workers they’d be bad. However if they are ninjas and you never see them, then they must be good, right?

So there’s absolutely, positively, nobody else?
Not quite true. Sometimes I enlist help from my friends in Twitter, usually they volunteer information they hear around the web. Then I credit the source and them :)

To find out more…
You can also read a bit more on every member of the band by reading the Profiles.
You can follow me on Twitter @TheSwiftAgency.
You can contact me at theswiftagency at gmail. Sorry I don’t put the obvious email address and link here. It’s just a way to dodge spambots.
This is an independent fan site and is not affiliated with Taylor Swift, or her management. If you’re looking to get in touch with them, I would try the contact form at Big Machine Records.

The Sparkly Dressed’s visit to the Ronald McDonald House

Hello Taylor Nation,

Going Back To December, following her appearance at the Billboard Awards luncheon in New York City, the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar decided to do a low key visit of the Ronald McDonald House in the big apple (December, 2011). Thanks to pictures posted on sparklyflower.posterous.com by Clint Pierce, we get to see a bit more of what happened during the visit. These are not press photos.
According to ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com, Robbie Bryan said about the visit: “Taylor visited the Ronald Mcdonald House following her Billboard Women of the Year luncheon. She basically called up, said she wanted to meet the kids and take pictures, but NO publicity about it. Took pics and signed autograph for every single kid who wanted. Broke out the guitar, sang about 6-7 songs and quietly left.”

The Queen of Sparks flies from LA to London! Fourth album could be released in October.

Hello Taylor Nation,

The Sparkly Dressed wrapped up her visit to the Sundance Film Festival, made a quick stop in LA and headed to London. According to Celebrity-Gossip.net, the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar is in London, England. I hope she gets some free stuff from all the air mileage. Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who knew what he was getting into when he decided to blog about T-Swizzle, we take time off by just lying on the couch watching TV. Taylor is not one to sit still.
If you’ve ever read this site before, you may know I don’t like to announce statements lightly. Scott Borchetta was interviewed at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on January 21st. The event was on livestream. There’s no record of it so far (it’s not in the archived ones, hopefully it will be), except for word of mouth. Relying on people that saw it, I can’t help but quote the CEO of Big Machine Records himself: “We will have a new Taylor album in October. The record is genius. I can’t wait for the fans to hear it.” I’ve been waiting on a site to have a transcript, but there’s none yet. I’ve decided to run this based on the account of people who saw the event and relayed the information. That being said, I will still keep trying to get a better confirmation for this one.
Also according to Celebrity-Gossip.net, the Outspoken One made a stop between Park City, Utah and London, England. She was reported in Los Angeles, California on January 22 filming a promo for the Grammy Awards with LL Cool J. Talk about a busy schedule. Energizer, I have an idea for your next spokeswoman.

  • February 12: The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Taylor Swift is nominated for Best Country Album for Speak Now, Best Country Song for Mean and Best Country Solo Performance for Mean. The show will be broadcast live on CBS from 8:00pm to 11:30pm ET/PT.

Development, release and promotion

According to Swift, on November 3, 2011 she had finished the second day of shooting for the music video of "Ours". The music video premiered on E! News and E! Online on December 2, 2011 at 7:00pm ET. Swift, herself, came up with the concept for the video. The video is directed by Declan Whitebloom. In an interview with E! News, Swift describes her idea, "I had a very definitive idea of what I wanted this video to be." Whitebloom, who also directed Swift's "Mean" video expresses, "When Taylor says, 'I've got an idea,' you listen to what she's gonna say. And so I did, and it was a great idea—and I loved it!". To promote the video Swift is releasing thirteen behind the scene "webisodes" daily on her official website.

Synopsis

The video begins with, Swift, dressed as a career woman, passes through the lobby to the elevator and greets the people she meets. As the elevator's door closes, Swift begins to sing, looking indolent and slothful, seeing people surrounding her in the elevator. As the elevator reaches the thirteenth floor, people surrounding her start to exit and nudge her. Swift then walks in the office and sluggishly sits at her office desk while a man disturbs her. Swift then wanders in the office to use the office's printer (which is first out of paper, out of toner, and then disappears altogether); waits for a man who is noisily drinking water at a water cooler in the staff room; and eats while there are two women who laugh and talk about her behind her back. Later at her office desk, Swift takes a sticky note written by her and her boyfriend (Zach Gilford) stating that they loved each other first. Swift turns on the computer, watching and smiling at various videos of her and her boyfriend. She takes a look at her watch and leaves the office in a better mood than when she arrived. Swift waits for a bus outside. On the bus, Swift watches more videos on a Sony Tablet S of moments with her boyfriend. The bus stops at the airport. Swift gets off and looks around. Her boyfriend then emerges from the sliding doors of the airport, revealing to us that he was overseas serving in the military. Swift breaks into a smile, drops everything that she is carrying, and runs into her boyfriend's arms. They embrace each other as the video ends.

White Horse (Fearless Album 2006)

Go back to the past and trying to be fearless. Check this videos below from Fearless Album in 2006. Enjoy it!!

"White Horse" is a country song performed by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. The song was written by Swift and Liz Rose and produced by Nathan Chapman, with Swift's aid. The song was released on December 8, 2008 by Big Machine Records, as the second single from Swift's second studio album Fearless. Swift and Rose composed the song about one of Swift's ex-boyfriends, when Swift discovered he was not what she had perceived of him. It focused on the moment where Swift accepted the relationship was over. "White Horse" is, musically, a country pop song and uses sparse production to emphasize vocals. Lyrically, the track speaks of disillusionment and pain in a relationship, drawing references to fairytales.
Critically, "White Horse" garnered generally positive reception. At the 52nd Grammy Awards, "White Horse" won the Grammy Awards for Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance. The song also performed well commercially, although it did not duplicate the success of its predecessor, "Love Story". In the United States, it peaked at number thirteen in the Billboard Hot 100 and number two on Hot Country Songs. It was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song's accompanying music video was directed by Trey Fanjoy, who directed all of Swift's prior videos. The video features Swift as she decides to end a relationship via phone call. In the video, Swift recalls multiple memories with her love interest, both positive and negative. Swift promoted "White Horse" via live performances, including numerous during the Fearless Tour (2009–10).

Swift commenced composing "White Horse" almost a year before the release of Fearless, weeks after composing Fearless's lead single "Love Story", songs which are quite disparate lyrically. Swift first solely wrote the first verse. She then made a phone call to Liz Rose, co-writer of most tracks on Swift's eponymous debut studio album, Taylor Swift (2006), asking for her aid in finishing the song; the two completed writing the song in approximately forty-five minutes. The song was inspired by a boyfriend of Swift's who she perceived to be a Prince Charming and, in the downfall of the relationship, then realized he was not. She said he was the person who triggered the song, but, once in the midst of writing it, drifted in direction. It focused on the initial moment where she recognized the relationship was over. She said everything after that particular moment centered around recuperation and, because of that, considered it the most solemn aspect of a breakup: "To me, 'White Horse' is about what, in my opinion, is the most heart-breaking part of a break-up – that moment when you realize that all the dreams you had, all those visions you had of being with this person, all that disappears." About the difference in themes between "White Horse" and "Love Story", Swift explained that in divergent scenarios, she regarded fairytales in different manners. She attributed the fact that because she did not expect to go through the event, then she became more inclined to come in terms with reality.
"When we're little girls, our parents read us storybooks. And we think that Prince Charming's gonna come along, is gonna have a white cape on, is going to put us on a pedestal. And the bad guy wears black and we always know who that guy is. But what we don't realize is that, in reality, the bad guy is wearing jeans. And he's cute. And he's charming, makes you laugh, and you believe him. You think he's the good guy. Then, you realize he's not."
The song was not originally intended to be included on Fearless, due to Swift believing solemness was already represented accurately on the album; therefore, Swift was planning on including the track on her third studio album, what would become Speak Now in 2010. However, when Swift's Los Angeles managing agency set up an appointment with the executive producers of her favorite television series, Grey's Anatomy, Betsy Beers and Shonda Rhimes, they discussed including Swift's music on the series. Swift chose to play them "White Horse" live with an acoustic guitar. Beers and Rhimes were very impressed and told Swift they would respond her via telephone as soon as they could. Swift decided to not include the track on Fearless, until the producers responded, which they did not for some time. When Grey's Anatomy's representatives called, Swift and Nathan Chapman recorded the song immediately, sent a CD to them, and they decided to use it on the television series. "White Horse" debuted on the fifth season premiere of Grey's Anatomy, "Dream a Little Dream of Me", on September 25, 2008.

The accompanying music video for "White Horse" was directed by Trey Fanjoy, who directed all of Swift's prior music videos. Swift commented that Fanjoy was her first choice to film the video because she understood the direction Swift wanted to take and how to make the video different than the prior ones they filmed. The video's plot centered on infidelity. However, because the theme had appeared on the video for "Picture to Burn", the scenario was reversed, rather than removed entirely, for Swift thought it was inevitable to include it. It was conceptualized so that Swift was the person who someone was unfaithful to, but the one who someone was unfaithful with: "This girl falls in love with this guy and he's perfect. He's adorable. He's charming. He's endearing. She falls in love with him. Then, she comes to realize that he's been leading a double life. He was already in a relationship years before he ever met her [...] You find out that I'm the one that was ruining a relationship without even knowing it." Swift chose actor Stephen Colletti to portray the role of her love interest. She had previously seen him on the reality television series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, where she acknowledged him to be "cute", and later on One Tree Hill, where she was impressed by his acting skills; thus, Colletti was contacted to portray the character. Swift chose Colletti primarily because of his sweet and endearing demeanor. As a result, the character would seem very loyal, as though he would never betray his partner. Therefore, others did not expect for him to betray Swift either. "That's always the hardest thing, when someone has you fooled so much that you think they're never gonna hurt you. And then they do. That's when you get the worst heartbreak", Swift said.
The video was shot in one day in January 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee. Frolicking scenes between Swift and Colletti were filmed first; the lunch, outdoor, and indoor scenes followed. Coincidentally, on the day of filming, it rained heavily, something which Swift was enlightened by, since it corresponded to the video's gloomy and dark feel. Swift said it aided in making the video less colorful lighting-wise, and more fixated on muted tones. The last scenes were more difficult for Swift because they involved crying. She attributed the difficulty to the number of people surrounding her and watching, something she was not accustomed to. However, Fanjoy, who was once an actress, guided her into thinking about what made her most solemn, and completing the scene effectively. Fanjoy said the scenes demonstrated what an exceptional actress Swift was, adding she took direction very well.[1] The scene took approximately three hours to film.
The video premiered on February 7, 2009 on CMT. The video commences with a close-ups of Swift's and Caltletti's mouths as they speak via telephone. He begins, "All I want is you. Do you love me?" She affirms, and he asks for another chance. The video transitions to Swift sitting on the living room floor, next to a fireplace. She performs as she flashback (narrative) to memories with Colletti. The two frolic on a brown couch and play with a deck of cards. The video then transitions to Swift and her friend having lunch a restaurant, where Swift's friend informs her of Colletti's betrayal. The two converse and, then, Swift is seen walking on the streets during nighttime. She sees Colletti arriving at a house with groceries and, after staring at each other, a redheaded woman walks out of the house. In a panic, Swift runs away and the video transcends to the phone call, which commenced in the beginning of the video, with Colletti repeating, "Will you give me another chance?" A rapid flashback of cut-scenes is played and, after its conclusion, Swift denies his request, hangs up, and cries. Cut-scenes feature Swift and Colletti frolicking, Swift walking in the streets, and her sitting beside the fireplace.
